
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: King Abdullah Financial District Development and Management Company (KAFD DMC) sealed a series of partnerships and collaborations during the second edition of the Private Sector Forum, according to the company’s press release.
These collaborations included an agreement between KAFD and Advanced Communications and Electronic Systems Company (ACES) to establish a state-of-art 4G and 5G telecom infrastructure that will support all mobile operators and provide seamless connectivity for all tenants, residents, visitors, and businesses in the district.
KAFD also awarded three design and build contracts to Mohammed Alrashid Trading and Contracting Company (MARCO) to undertake the comprehensive design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover of works for several buildings in the district.
In addition, KAFD awarded another two contracts to Source Machinery to start the development of Phases 1, 2, 3, and 4 of KAFD’s Area 6, while Jash Technical Services won a contract to provide comprehensive community services for KAFD's public facilities.
Gautam Sashittal, CEO of KAFD DMC, commented: “These agreements not only double down our commitment to urban excellence but essentially demonstrate the critical role private-sector expertise plays in realizing the ambitious goals of Saudi Vision 2030.”
He added that the partnerships represent “a powerful testament to the power of collaboration between the public and private sectors in Saudi Arabia.”
The Public Investment Fund (PIF) organized the Private Sector Forum 2024 from 6 to 7 February, with the participation of more than 80 PIF portfolio companies and over 20 public sector leaders.
The two-day forum served as a platform for collaboration, unveiling new opportunities, and empowering the private sector to spearhead economic growth and achieve national goals.
It featured panel discussions and fireside chats on key themes with Ministers, PIF, portfolio companies, and private sector leaders and fireside chats with Ministers and giga-project CEOs.
