Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Global Smart City Forum 2024 kicks off today in Riyadh with the participation of more than 40 countries.
Organized by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), this two-day forum gathers policymakers, entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, and students to explore opportunities in business sectors, including smart governance, transportation, energy, economy, environment, healthcare, and education.
It features a dynamic program comprising keynotes from over 100 esteemed international and local speakers, including Saudi ministers and senior officials.
The discussions aim to shape an ambitious vision for the future of cities using smart solutions, and set basic rules that support city improvement plans to achieve sustainable urban development that enhances quality of life.
The forum covers various tracks: Planning the Green Cities of the Next Century; Govern Data-Driven Smart Cities; The Future of Urban Mobility; Disruptive Innovations; Smart Public Services; and Global Cities.
It further includes workshops to provide participants with hands-on experiences and practical knowledge, fostering interactive learning and collaboration.
