Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Governor of the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) Sami Alhussaini held several meetings to explore ways of fostering entrepreneurs in the Eastern Province.
Alhussaini met with Bader AlReziza, Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, and other members to discuss means of cooperation to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurship sectors in the province, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The meeting showcased the efforts of Monsha’at and the Asharqia Chamber to foster startups and the entrepreneurship sector and empower SME owners and entrepreneurs.
Alhussaini also met with several entrepreneurs and SME owners in the Eastern Province to discuss the challenges facing them and how to facilitate their businesses’ growth in addition to exploring promising opportunities and initiatives in the province.
For his part, AlReziza affirmed that the meeting keeps entrepreneurs updated with the future plans of Monsha’at.
He added that the Asharqia Chamber launched a diverse suite of programs, seminars, and workshops to help SMEs develop, upgrade performance, and attract more capital.
Monsha’at provided a lot of services and initiatives to nurture entrepreneurs and SME owners in the province by offering consultancies and training programs to empower them to expand and grow their projects.
It is worth noting that the number of SMEs in the Eastern Province reached 141,000 during the fourth quarter of 2023, with more than one million employees.
