
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The total volume of credit facilities provided to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Saudi Arabia reached SAR 275.6 billion during the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2023, compared to SAR 268.5 billion in the previous quarter.
A recent report issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) showed that banks provided SAR 258.2 billion of the total credit facilities while financial companies extended facilities amounting to SAR 17.3 billion in Q4-23.
Medium enterprises seized the largest share of total credit facilities at SAR 158.4 billion, followed by small enterprises that obtained facilities worth SAR 92.3 billion.
The total volume of credit facilities extended to micro-sized enterprises touched SAR 24.9 billion in Q4-23.
