
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Jazan City for Primary and Downstream Industries (JCPDI) signed three construction and operational contracts amounting to over SAR 315 million, according to a recent statement.
The JCPDI signed a contract worth more than SAR 199 million with China Harbour Engineering Company Arabia to design and establish a bridge linking the bonded and re-export zone with the Artificial Island.
The second contract, worth over SAR 99 million, was awarded to Al Dafe Trading and Constructing Company to build support service warehouses in JCPDI.
Alwaleed for Operation and Maintenance won a contract worth more than SAR 16 million to operate and carry out maintenance of temporary housing accommodations at JCPDI.
These agreements came as part of JCPDI’s efforts to transform the city into a major regional logistics center, thereby supporting national industrial strategies, increasing private sector contributions to economic development, boosting non-oil exports, attracting foreign investments, and facilitating a conducive investment environment.
