Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Altakamul National Agriculture, a leading agriculture company in Saudi Arabia, acquired a 15% stake in Nabataty for an undisclosed amount, a recent statement unveiled.
Founded in 2018, Nabataty is an online platform specializing in selling ornamental plants, indoor plants, and gifting solutions.
Khaled Al Ghamdi, Co-founder of Nabataty, stated that the acquisition deal will fuel the company’s strategy to achieve sustainable growth and increase revenues through collaborating with partners who have long experience in growing ornamental plants with the best global standards.
Meanwhile, Saud Al Faisal, CEO of Altakamul National Agriculture, stated that the acquisition came as part of the company’s plans to expand its business and solidify its presence in the fast-growing e-commerce sector in Saudi Arabia.
He further noted that the acquisition is expected to contribute to increasing the company’s investments in new fields, in conjunction with the market’s latest trends.
