Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) organized the Canadian Healthcare Companies Forum, with the participation of 26 Canadian healthcare companies, to discuss investment opportunities and potential partnerships in the Saudi healthcare sector.

During the forum, three Canadian companies announced their plans to obtain the license to open regional headquarters in the Kingdom soon, capitalizing on the promising investment opportunities in the Saudi healthcare sector.

The forum was attended by Hassan Alhwaizy, Chairman of FSC, Mohammed ALDulaim, Chairman of the Saudi Arabia-Canada Business Council, and Jean-Philippe Linteau, the Canadian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

Alhwaizy stated that opening the new offices is a testament to the business council’s efforts to help Saudi and Canadian businessmen forge partnerships and promote their activities.

On the sidelines of the forum, Alhwaizy and Linteau held a meeting to discuss the development of Saudi-Canadian economic relations and investment opportunities.

Meanwhile, ALDulaim noted that the value of investment opportunities in the Saudi healthcare sector is expected to reach SAR 330 billion by 2030, triggered by the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030 which aims to transform the sector.

On his part, Abdullah Al-Yami, Deputy Chairman of the Saudi Arabia-Canada Business Council, affirmed that the forum attracted more than 15 Canadian healthcare companies to open their regional headquarters in the Saudi Capital.

It is worth noting that the Canadian Healthcare Companies Forum was held in line with the Global Health Exhibition that takes place in Riyadh from 21 to 23 October.
