Riyadh – Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: The total value of published opportunities on the government-backed platform Forsah, part of the Nine Tenths program (910ths), reached around SAR 5 billion, benefitting more than 30,000 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Abdulaziz AlKhariji, Head of Marketing at 910ths, told Sharikat Mubasher.

In an interview held on the sidelines of Seamless Saudi Arabia 2024, AlKhariji clarified that the Forsah platform aims to empower SMEs by connecting them with large entities in the Kingdom.

The official elaborated that the Forsah platform serves around 160,000 freelancers alongside large entities, such as Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS), the Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC), and the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI).

The 910ths program was launched by the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) to empower entrepreneurs and businesses, support the local economy, and create jobs for self-employed Saudis and others in various regions of the Kingdom.

Along with Forsah, the program offers a bunch of services including Tojjar, a platform designed to enable productive families; the Bahr platform, tailored to meet the specific needs of freelancers; and Zadd, a platform providing general and interactive reports to entrepreneurs to help them thrive.

AlKhariji revealed that the program targets doubling the number of benefiting enterprises within the upcoming period while enhancing the growth of the national economy and raising the gross domestic product (GDP).

Seamless Saudi Arabia 2024 takes place in Riyadh from 22 to 24 October, bringing together industry leaders, decision-makers, SMEs, startups, and government representatives from around the world.

It provides in-depth discussions covering a wide range of subjects, from digital banking to the integration of technology in retail environments.
