Riyadh – Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: On the sidelines of Biban 24, Sharikat Mubasher interviewed Soliman Aldahlawy, Founder of Nighat, who introduced the company as a Saudi agritech startup providing dates sorting services using Artificial Intelligence AI and Machine Learning (ML) technologies.
Aiming to automate the entire process of dates sorting in Saudi Arabia, Aldahlawy added that the Kingdom produces 1.9 million tons of dates per year, which used to be sorted manually beforehand.
Aldahlawy pointed out that Nighat provides farmers and factories with stats and reports on sorting processes, asserting that the company is considering an expansion of services within the Kingdom to include other crops not only dates.
Nighat eyes reshaping the industry of Dates sorting via AI and ML techs to ensure accurate sorting and categorizing of dates, achieving the highest possible quality with the least costs.
Expected to welcome over 160,000 visitors, Biban 2024 will provide 10,000 investment and entrepreneurial opportunities, 420 workshops for over 19,000 beneficiaries, and consultation and guidance sessions for more than 5,000 beneficiaries.
