Riyadh – Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: In an interview with Sharikat Mubasher, on the sidelines of the Biban 24 Conference, Hassan Alfaifi, Founder and CEO of HackSpace, introduced his company as a Saudi startup for Cybersecurity services that provides training and educating on cybersecurity issues for both individuals and corporates.
Alfaifi elaborates that HackSpace targets university students as it provides virtual laboratories and training programs for them to ensure they are fit for the labor market. In these programs, they learn how to detect a cybersecurity breach and how to deal with it.
For corporates, Alfaifi adds that the company offers governance and compliance programs in cybersecurity, as well as training plans for corporate employees. Moreover, the company links students from universities with corporations with job vacancies in the field of cybersecurity.
Alfaifi revealed that HackSpace started as a small team participating in a cyber-Hackathon at Biban 23, adding that the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha’at" supported the team to develop into a solid startup that is now an exhibitor at Biban 24.
Expected to welcome over 160,000 visitors, Biban 2024 will provide 10,000 investment and entrepreneurial opportunities, 420 workshops for over 19,000 beneficiaries, and consultation and guidance sessions for more than 5,000 beneficiaries.
