Riyadh - Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: Tulip Technologies, a leading company specializing in designing robotics solutions, launched the first Saudi-made robotic arm, named Azem, during Biban 2024, Saudi Arabia’s flagship event for startups and entrepreneurs.
In an interview with Sharikat Mubahser, Founder and CEO Abdallah Sunna clarified that the robotic arm will be used in all factories to automate the manufacturing processes.
He noted that the robotic is currently being manufactured with 30% local content, with plans to raise this percentage to 60% within the next three years.
Sunna pointed out that Tulip Technologies forged a strategic partnership with a leading German company to bring this technology into Saudi Arabia and manufacture robots in the Kingdom.
With offices in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Jordan, Tulip Technologies designs and integrates robotics solutions into manufacturing and logistics processes, helping factories, warehouses, hospitals, and many other facilities increase their efficiency by automating their manual processes.
Biban 2024, the flagship event for startups and entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia, takes place in Riyadh from 5 to 9 November with the participation of more than 1,350 local and international exhibitors, over 250 speakers, and more than 150 enablement entities from around the world.
