Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The Federation of Saudi Chambers announced tha , Krzysztof Gavkowski , Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs, confirmed that 30 Polish companies are in the process of opening offices in Saudi Arabia, backed by support and guarantees from the Polish government.
This announcement was made during a meeting between Hassan Al-Huwaizi, Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, and a group of Saudi investors at the Federation’s headquarters in Riyadh on Monday, according to the Saudi Gazette. The meeting also included officials and representatives of government agencies from both countries.
On this occasion, Gavkowski stated: "Saudi Arabia's experience in the field of technology, digitization, and artificial intelligence represents an inspiring experience and is a model to be emulated in the Middle East,". He also revealed that several Polish companies have already obtained licenses to establish headquarters and branches in Saudi Arabia.
Ibrahim Al-Mubarak, Assistant Minister of Investment and CEO of the Investment Marketing Authority, emphasized Saudi Arabia’s position as an ideal partner for Poland in the sectors of communications, information technology, data centers, and artificial intelligence, citing the Kingdom's world-class digital infrastructure. He further highlighted opportunities for collaboration in food security and agriculture, noting that Poland’s strategic location offers Saudi companies access to both the Polish and broader European markets.
Al-Huwaizi also said: "The meeting is an extension of the successes and positive outcomes of the recent visit of a delegation to Poland. We are looking forward to more cooperation between the business sectors of the two countries to raise the level of trade exchange from its current levels, estimated at about $9 billion, to broader horizons,".
Abdullah Abu Dubeil, Chairman of the Saudi-Polish Business Council, announced that Polish companies are set to establish headquarters in Saudi Arabia by the first quarter of 2025. He added that the Council is developing a joint action plan in collaboration with relevant authorities in both countries and is organizing an exhibition for Polish companies in Saudi Arabia.
