Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources announced that registration for the Future Minerals Forum in January (FMF) 2025 is now open on the event’s official website.
The fourth edition of the world’s leading platform on minerals will take place from 14 to 16 January, 2025, at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh, as per the Ministry’s announcement.
The FMF welcomes 85 countries to participate in the ministerial meeting, 50 governmental, business and human rights organizations, and will feature 75 discussion sessions with over 250 speakers.
The Forum’s activities will include launching the ‘Cognitive Communication Day’ that aims to exchange knowledges and improve talents within the mining sector, in addition to the ministerial meeting that aims to set global strategies contributing to the development of the Saudi mining sector.
Moreover, the event will witness a meeting for leaders of the international authorities of geological survey to explore ways of integrating digital techs and AI tools to enhance geological capabilities.
The event will also gather leaders of technical and excellence centers to establish a regional network in support of innovation within the minerals sector.
Notably, the third edition of FMF brought together over 14,000 participants from 133 countries, including ministers, senior government officials, leaders of international organizations, and C-level executives from global mining and mineral companies. The forum also saw the signing of 75 minerals deals worth around SAR 75 billion.
