Vodafone Egypt launches money transfer service in some GCC countries

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Vodafone Egypt, a leading telecommunications provider, launched its instant international money transfer service via Vodafone Cash, allowing Egyptians abroad to receive funds seamlessly and instantly via their e-wallets.

This groundbreaking feature is now available in the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan, with Saudi Arabia joining soon, according to the company’s latest press release.

The move reinforces Vodafone Egypt’s strategy to lead in tech innovation, deliver cutting-edge digital solutions, and drive digital transformation in line with Egypt Vision 2030. The service enables customers inside and outside Egypt to send and receive money instantly, making transactions faster, smoother, and more convenient than ever.

Islam Mamoun, Financial Services Executive Director at Vodafone Egypt, emphasized that this milestone revolutionizes digital finance and strengthens the company’s role in advancing financial inclusion and sustainable development goals.

He highlighted that Vodafone Cash offers a secure and seamless experience for customers, enabling Egyptians abroad to transfer money to their families instantly with zero additional fees.

Vodafone Cash is a secure and convenient mobile wallet service that allows users to send, receive, and store money digitally. Integrated with Vodafone Egypt’s network, it ensures fast, contactless payments making everyday transactions. The service supports peer-to-peer transfers and QR-based in-store payments, delivering a fully digital financial experience.
