Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Aramco announced today the signing of memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and a cooperation agreement with global consulting firms and educational institutions.
These efforts aim to train Aramco employees by seconding them to consulting firms and involving them in live projects, while also empowering the next generation of innovators, enhancing digital skills, and preparing Saudi youth for the future job market, according to the company’s press release.
The signing took place during the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) Conference, which launched its second edition in Riyadh yesterday. Aramco continues to play a key role as a “Vision Partner” of Saudi Arabia’s Human Capability Development Program, committed to creating growth opportunities and building local talent.
Faisal Al-Hajji, Aramco’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources, signed MoUs with Deloitte & Touche Middle East Limited, Accenture, and Korn Ferry’s MENA regional office (Hay Group Saudi Arabia Limited).
The partnerships aim to enhance the consulting and managerial capabilities of Aramco employees by allowing them to work on a variety of real-world projects across sectors. These agreements underline Aramco’s ongoing commitment to developing its workforce and expanding their perspectives through training opportunities both within and outside the company.
In addition, Aramco signed a cooperation agreement with Numou Education Center to establish the “Innovation Oasis” program in the Eastern Province. A dedicated innovation hub will be launched in partnership with Aramco and Numou, with the goal of reaching 60,000 beneficiaries by 2027.
On the occasion, Al-Hajji commented: “At Saudi Aramco, we take pride in our decades-long contribution to the education and training of Saudi citizens. These efforts have unlocked the full potential of our talents through skill-building, knowledge sharing, and hands-on experience—key to building a more diverse, sustainable, and competitive economy.”
