Riyadh – Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: Issam Farhat, Owner and CEO at FARHAT Bakery equipment, told Sharikat Mubasher that his company is one of the oldest Lebanese companies to manufacture all related baking equipment since 1978, when Mr. FARHAT, the father, began his ascent to one of world’s leading pita machines manufacturer to build his own automatic line.
At that time, the 100 sq-m facility beside his bakery helped him design, manufacture, test, and sell machines to his local pita bakers. In 1982, and after the increasing demand for his machines, Mr. Farhat decided to start his own manufacturing company.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Saudi Food Manufacturing Exhibition 2025, Farhat Jr added that his company is now specialized in designing and manufacturing baking machines for almost all kinds of flatbread such as Saj, Tortilla, and Lebanese bread. Based in Lebanon, the company exports baking equipment to several global markets, with the Saudi market being at the top of them.
Extended over a 7,000-meter square space, the FARHAT Factory includes about 100 employees and 20 engineers, aiming to continuously improve their industry and introduce what’s new in the world of baking.
