
Muscat - Sharikat Mubasher: Darrbak, the Oman-based corporate travel platform, raised an undisclosed pre-seed funding round led by the “Future Fund” under the Oman Investment Authority (OIA).
In a statement, the company unveiled that it will use the investment to support its platform’s growth in the institutional travel sector.
Darrbak is a tech-driven platform focusing on managing corporate and government travel needs. It offers integrated solutions such as hotel bookings, flight reservations, and additional travel-related services.
Through this investment, Darrbak aims to strengthen its digital infrastructure and expand its corporate client base across Oman and the region while maintaining its commitment to simplicity, safety, and innovation.
Darrbak’s offerings include a broad range of sea, mountain, and desert experiences across Oman, with the ability to book up to 6 months in advance. Users can customise their trips and book flights and hotels, all through a secure online payment system.
For experience providers, Darrbak offers a smart payment gateway and improved communication channels to help ensure upfront payments and streamlined service delivery.
