Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The National Bank of Bahrain is actively planning to further expand its presence in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, in the near future, according to Hala Yateem, Chairwoman of the Bank.

 In an interview with Asharq Business, Yateem added that she sees great potential in the financial technology within the Kingdom, asserting that Saudi Arabia provides multiple expansion opportunities within this particular area.

The National Bank of Bahrain is also focusing on expanding its footprint in the UAE as per Yateem, who added that the bank is working on implementing strategies to strike the right balance between navigating a low-interest-rate environment and ensuring sustainable business growth and profitability, given the current drastic economic circumstances.
