Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: Digital investment platform Stryde acquired Abu Dhabi-based angel network Qora71, rebranding it as Stryde71 to launch a new venture capital syndication vertical.
As per a recent press release, the move expands Stryde’s regulated investment offerings and marks its entry into Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). Stryde71 will enable both retail and qualified investors to co-invest in vetted startup deals, complementing the firm’s existing verticals.
Founded just five months ago with support from Hub71, Qora71 built a network of 130+ angels and facilitated over 50 investments, deploying $2 million in capital. Its founder, Youssef Salem, now joins Stryde as a partner.
Stryde’s team described the acquisition as a key step toward scaling startup investing across the region. Hub71 said the launch of Stryde71 reflects broader progress in Abu Dhabi’s early-stage funding ecosystem.
