Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia secured the third position worldwide in the development of leading artificial intelligence models and in the hiring rates for AI-related jobs, according to the 2025 AI Index issued by Stanford University’s Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI).

The Kingdom placed behind the United States and China in language model leadership, and followed India and Brazil in AI job-growth momentum.

The findings reflect Saudi Arabia’s rapid progress across several dimensions of the AI Index, securing its position among the top ten countries globally.

The report highlights the Kingdom’s growing influence in advanced technologies, supported by the work of the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) and the national vision to build a globally competitive data and AI-driven economy under Vision 2030.
