
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Social Development Bank (SDB) announced its 2025 results during its fourth-quarter board meeting, chaired by Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Chairman of the Bank’s Board.
During the year, the bank provided SAR 3.1 billion in financing to entrepreneurs and owners of small and emerging enterprises, benefiting 8,000 startups and SMEs.
In parallel, SAR 2.8 billion was directed toward freelancers and productive families, reaching 65,000 beneficiaries, while SAR 2 billion in social financing supported 35,000 recipients.
In addition to direct financing, SDB expanded its non-financial support programs, with approximately 61,000 beneficiaries accessing enablement and development services aimed at improving business readiness, sustainability, and growth.
The bank continued to scale its flagship entrepreneurial community, Jada30, which now operates 13 branches across Saudi Arabia and hosts more than 4,300 businesses, including 1,300 added during 2025.
SDB also increased funding dedicated to high-growth sectors, with financing portfolios for information technology, gaming, and esports reaching SAR 1.3 billion. These sectors are viewed as key drivers of innovation, job creation, and economic diversification under Vision 2030.
SDB also maintained an active presence in entrepreneurship-focused events, including DeveGo 2025, which brought together founders, investors, and experts to support startup growth and modern work models.
