Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a digital transformation and technology partner of choice for industry-leading organizations worldwide, announced the establishment of a new subsidiary in Riyadh to bolster its presence and capabilities in the Saudi market.
The new entity, named Tata Consultancy Services Regional Headquarters, was officially incorporated on 18 January, with an initial capital subscription of SAR 1.65 million, TCS revealed in a bourse filing yesterday.
Fully owned by TCS and specializing in information technology and information technology-enabled services, the new subsidiary marks a significant move in TCS’s expansion strategy in the Middle East.
The launch of the new subsidiary aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Regional Headquarters (RHQ) Program, which mandates foreign investors to establish an RHQ in the Kingdom to become eligible for participation in Government and semi-Government project bidding.
