Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Nemetschek Arabia, part of the Nemetschek Group, announced the signing a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Facility Management Association (SFMA) to support the advancement of Saudi Arabia’s facilities management sector through innovation, digital transformation, and workforce development. As per the company’s press release, this partnership aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and aims to raise industry standards while accelerating the adoption of technology-driven facilities management practices. Under the MoU, both parties will collaborate on knowledge exchange, skills development, and the introduction of advanced digital solutions across the FM ecosystem.

Planned areas of cooperation include joint workshops, training programs, industry events, and research initiatives, alongside pilot projects spanning the public and private sectors. These projects will focus on smart facilities management, digital twins, and data-driven operations to enhance asset performance and sustainability.

Yves Padrines, Chief Executive Officer of the Nemetschek Group, highlighted the growing importance of digitalization across the full asset lifecycle, from design to operations, noting that the collaboration supports smarter, more sustainable built environments in the Kingdom. Meanwhile, Muayad Simbawa, Managing Director of Nemetschek Arabia, emphasized that combining global technology expertise with local industry leadership will help build resilient capabilities aligned with national priorities.

For his part, Ayed bin Awad Al-Qahtani, Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Facility Management Association, said the partnership will strengthen national talent and equip professionals with advanced tools and international best practices needed to manage Saudi Arabia’s expanding portfolio of mega-projects.

The agreement reinforces both organizations’ commitment to developing a future-ready facilities management sector that supports long-term economic and urban transformation in Saudi Arabia.
