Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Pinnacle Capital, an investment company affiliated with Watar Partners, launched a new venture capital fund targeting Saudi growth-stage companies and secondary investments in the tech sector.
The fund aims to inject capital and liquidity directly into tech companies in four areas with long-term growth drivers, including fintech, the emergence of Riyadh as a global city, e-commerce, and health and lifestyle, the company announced in a statement today.
The focus on fintech is supported by regulatory openness and the shift toward digital banking, which is reshaping the sector, the company said, highlighting significant growth opportunities in the Saudi e-commerce sector, where penetration rates still trail global averages.
The fund will also tap into Riyadh's emergence as a top-10 global city, fueling demand for innovative solutions in housing, mobility, and real estate. This strategy aligns with the large-scale urban transformation currently underway in the capital.
Additionally, the company revealed that rising public health awareness and demand for preventative care drive the fund’s focus on health and lifestyle.
Pinnacle Capital's fund combines growth capital with secondary investments. This dual approach provides direct funding to help companies scale their operations, while offering a crucial liquidity option for founders, employees, and early investors.
Pinnacle Capital is a financial services provider offering a range of investment activities, including alternative investment management and arranging services, built with an aspiration to lead the evolution of Saudi Arabia’s financial landscape.
With a paid-up capital of SAR 13.6 million, the company aims to unlock unparalleled opportunities and drive sustainable growth and economic diversification across the Kingdom through a strategic approach and profound market insights.
