
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The New Murabba Development Company (NMDC) signed a contract with China Harbour Engineering Company to implement earthworks excavations of the first phase of constructing the basement structures underneath the Mukaab that occupies a total space exceeding 19 million square meters, the NMDC unveiled.
The contract was signed by Sabah Barakat, Acting CEO of NMDC, and Qiao Yongli, General Manager of Branch at China Harbour.
The deal also included conducting the backfilling and ground improvements of the surrounding development areas.
As per the agreement, both parties will join efforts and share expertise to deliver professional services for large complex construction projects.
NMDC, wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), aims to develop the world’s largest modern downtown in Riyadh, New Murabba, contributing to the city’s future development, in line with Vision 2030 goals.
