
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Digital Government Authority (DGA) launched the IMPACT Digital Market Initiative for the 54 state members of the Digital Cooperation Organization and African Union.
The initiative aims to contribute to creating value for individuals, communities, and business sectors and mind the digital gap towards a comprehensive and sustainable digital economy for all, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The IMPACT Digital Market Initiative was launched during the conclusion of the Saudi-African Summit held in Riyadh.
Ahmed Al-Suwaiyan, Governor of DGA, affirmed that the initiative targets building the digital infrastructure to achieve a positive impact in terms of increasing productivity and providing a better experience for service beneficiaries.
Al-Suwaiyan added that the initiative mirrors the Kingdom’s commitment to increasing the digital economy.
He further noted that the initiative targets facilitating access to digital services in various sectors, including education, health, justice, and security, in addition to increasing the contribution of the private sector and easing business practices.
Moreover, Al-Suwaiyan elaborated that the DGA and Digital Cooperation Organization will join efforts and work with the governmental entities in the beneficiary countries to utilize the initiative.
It is worth mentioning that several Saudi companies participate in the initiative, including Elm, Thiqah, Tahakom, Tabadul, Lean, and Tetco.
