
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saint-Gobain, the French multinational corporation specializing in light and sustainable construction, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the Saudi-based Izomaks Industries Company, in a bid to expand its footprint in the construction chemicals sector in the Kingdom, the corporation announced in a press release.
The acquisition of Izomaks will complement Saint-Gobain’s existing building envelope offering in Saudi Arabia and accelerate its growth in the Gulf region, backed by fast economic development and major construction projects in the upcoming years.
Furthermore, the acquisition deal aligned with Saint-Gobain’s strategic plan to cement its leading position and accelerate its presence by enriching its range of solutions for light and sustainable construction.
Present in Saudi Arabia since 2007, Saint-Gobain currently operates 3 manufacturing plants in insulation and mortars (tile fixing, façade renders, flooring, and technical mortars) and employs around 320 people.
