Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Minister of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) launched the ‘Generative Artificial Intelligence for All’ initiative during the Third General Assembly of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO).

The initiative aims to enhance research and develop and govern policies for AI across member states of the DCO, in addition to increasing awareness of its ethics and supporting capacity building for AI.

The new initiative, supervised by the International Center for Artificial Intelligence Research and Ethics (ICAIRE), will focus on enhancing digital inclusiveness and prosperity, highlighting the Kingdom's dedication to expediting digital transformation.

The GenAI Initiative represents a milestone in the Kingdom’s journey to become a leader in the digital and AI domains.

The minister announced the launch of the initiative in the attendance of officials from the 16 member states and top-level delegations from partners and observers.
