
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Red Sea Global (RSG), the multi-project developer, entered into a partnership with Naqel Express to provide transportation services, labor, logistics equipment, and supply chain technologies to The Red Sea destination.
In a statement, RSG clarified that Naqel Express will use exclusively biofueled and electric vehicles, in alignment with RSG’s smart and sustainable mobility strategy which prioritizes the use of electric, hydrogen, and biofueled vehicles across the destination.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Private Sector Forum 2024 organized by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) from 6 to 7 February.
This partnership is expected to create over 500 new jobs within the logistics industry in the Kingdom over the next four years.
Commenting on the partnership, John Pagano, Group CEO at Red Sea Global, said: “By joining forces with NAQEL Express, an industry leader renowned for its unwavering commitment to sustainability and quality, we are confident that our logistics operations will run smoothly and in line with our environmental principles."
For his part, Fadi Al-Buhairan, Acting CEO of Naqel Express, stated: "This collaboration will allow us to support Red Sea Global's regenerative tourism ambitions with our comprehensive range of logistics services.”
