Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: EdfaPay announced it has officially launched its Smart SoftPOS services in Saudi Arabia after receiving technical approval from the Payments Authorization Center at the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), meeting the required compliance and security standards.
As per the company’s press release, this move enables merchants across the Kingdom to accept payments directly through any Android smartphone or tablet, removing the need for traditional payment terminals. EdfaPay said the solution will support faster, more flexible payment acceptance, particularly for small and medium-sized businesses.
The company provides an end-to-end payments infrastructure that allows banks, SAMA-licensed payment companies, and merchant service providers to quickly deploy tailored payment solutions across multiple sectors. Its platform includes SoftPOS, a secure e-payment gateway, and various digital payment channels, all integrated within a single system to simplify operations and reduce reliance on physical terminals.
EdfaPay also offers API-driven and white-label solutions, enabling partners such as banks, fintech firms, and large enterprises to launch branded payment services managed through a unified dashboard.
