
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi fintech company Barq celebrated a significant milestone of reaching one million customers since launching its application three weeks ago, leading other digital payment applications in Saudi Arabia.
As a leading digital wallet for consumers and businesses in the Kingdom, the Barq application issued more than 600,000 cards and served customers of over 85 nationalities since its launch on 29 July, according to the company’s announcement.
In January, Barq obtained a license from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) to provide financial products and services in the Kingdom. It aims to revolutionize the Saudi fintech sector within the coming years through its unique services and secure payment methods that fulfill users' exact needs.
