US OPSWAT expands business in Saudi Arabia

US-based OPSWAT expanded its presence in Saudi Arabia to further protect the Kingdom's essential services against cyber threats

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: OPSWAT, the global provider of critical infrastructure protection (CIP) solutions based in the US, expanded its presence in Saudi Arabia as part of its commitment to supporting and contributing to the Kingdom’s economic growth.

OPSWAT’s expansion plans aim to protect the Kingdom’s essential services against the evolving landscape of cyber threats, in addition to addressing the need for improved educational and technical training, according to the company’s press release.

This move aligns with the company’s mission to provide specialized CIP technologies and tailor-made solutions that integrate operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) security.

Sertan Selcuk, OPSWAT’s Vice President for Middle East, Turkey, Africa, and Pakistan (METAP), said: “Safeguarding Saudi Arabia’s critical infrastructure against the rising tide of cyber threats is essential to the nation’s security and economic stability. OPSWAT is dedicated to supporting Saudi Vision 2030 by fortifying the Kingdom’s defenses through advanced cybersecurity training and innovative solutions.”

He emphasized the company’s commitment to ensuring Saudi Arabia's vital assets remain resilient in the face of evolving cyber challenges.

Tabarak Holding eyes new real estate development project in Kingdom
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Tabarak Holding Group, a key player in the Egyptian real estate sector, is in talks with Saudi Arabia’s National Housing Company (NHC) to launch a new 50-fiddan development project in the Kingdom, according to Chairman Ali Al Shorbany.In an interview with Alarabiya Business, Al Shorbany revealed that the group’s expansion strategy includes establishing new offices in Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region, in addition to diversifying its sales in Egypt and the GCC.He revealed that the company aims to establish around 500 hotel rooms in 2025 across Cairo, North Coast, and Sinai, with investments exceeding $40 million.Al Shorbany noted that Tabarak Holding’s current investments surpass EGP 160 billion, while its land portfolio exceeds eight million square meters.Tabarak Holding Group delivers innovative projects catering to diverse segments, focusing on quality and sustainability.
