Riyadh - Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: FBNI, a Saudi startup specializing in construction and eco-friendly materials, was selected among the top 100 startups that will vie for the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) finals, Founder Muna Sambawa told Sharikat Mubasher on the sidelines of Biban 2024.
She stated that FBNI is one of the six Saudi startups participating in the EWC finals, and aspires to be selected among the top 25 startups and win the EWC 2024.
Sambawa clarified that FBNI provides a wide range of eco-friendly customized insulation solutions, including thermal insulation panels, acoustic insulation panels, and pipe insulation.
FBNI was launched in 2023 to address the issue of textile waste accumulation, which has become a growing environmental issue with the increasing consumption of clothing and fabrics globally. It focuses on developing innovative technologies to recycle fabrics in an eco-friendly way without consuming new natural resources or releasing carbon emissions.
Biban 2024, which takes place in Riyadh from 5 to 9 November, will host EWC final qualifiers, allowing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), entrepreneurs, and investors from around the world to pitch and evaluate new ideas. The top 100 finalists will vie for cash prizes amounting to $1 million, in the presence of 120 investors.
