JAL offers comprehensive solutions in the land transport sector, supported by a fleet of over 800 carriers and highly trained drivers

Riyadh - Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi-based logistics and transportation services provider, JAL, signed two agreements during the Supply Chain and Logistics Conference 2024 to upgrade its fleet, which currently comprises over 800 carriers, Abdullah Al Ghamdi, Director of Business Development, unveiled.

Speaking to Sharikat Mubasher, Al Ghamdi stated that one of the agreements focused on manufacturing carriers while the other aimed to train and qualify drivers for transporting hazardous materials.

He explained that JAL's drivers are certified by the International Road Transport Union (IRU) to transport hazardous materials.

Specializing in petroleum gas delivery for nearly 65 years, JAL spun off from the National Gas and Industrialization Company (GASCO) in 2023 and expanded its services to include general goods delivery across Saudi Arabia and beyond.

Al Ghamdi highlighted that JAL provides comprehensive solutions in the land transport sector, including cross-border transportation, warehousing, and maintenance, along with liquified petroleum gas (LPG) and general goods transportation.

Furthermore, he noted that JAL's participation in the 6th Supply Chains and Logistics Conference underscored its commitment to expanding its presence in the logistics and transportation sector, in alignment with Vision 2030.

The Supply Chain and Logistics Conference 2024 convened in Riyadh on 15 and 16 December, with the participation of 100 exhibitors and more than 10 startups from over 10 countries.

It served as a dynamic platform that provides access to decision-makers in government agencies and commercial establishments and identifies investment initiatives and opportunities.

The conference gathered supply chain leaders from around the world to discuss strategies that will strengthen the Saudi economy and reinforce the Kingdom’s role as a global logistics hub linking three continents.
