Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Federation of Saudi Chambers organized the Saudi Canadian Healthcare Forum in the attendance of Mohammed Al-Duleim, Chairman of the Saudi-Canadian Business Council, and Jean-Philippe Linteau, the Ambassador of Canada to Saudi Arabia.
During the event, 40 Canadian companies announced their readiness to invest in the Saudi healthcare sector, as revealed by the Federation.
The forum highlighted available investment opportunities in the Saudi health sector as well as the Kingdom’s plans to increase the private sector’s contribution to 25% by 2030.
In his remarks, Al-Duleim emphasized the council’s pivotal role in upsizing trade exchange and fostering investment between the two countries. He also outlined the incentives and facilities offered by the Kingdom to attract foreign investors as part of Vision 2030.
For his part, Linteau reaffirmed Canadian companies’ interest in investing in Saudi Arabia, leveraging the sector’s ongoing development.
It should be noted that the Federation of Saudi Chambers announced the resumption of its business council with Canada last July after a five-year hiatus.
