Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI is reportedly in early talks to secure data center capacity in Saudi Arabia as part of its global infrastructure expansion strategy, according to Bloomberg.
The company is holding preliminary discussions with two potential partners, including Humain, a Saudi-backed AI firm.
While the proposal is still in its initial stages and much of the supporting infrastructure remains under development, the talks reflect xAI’s interest in regions offering affordable energy and favorable regulatory environments.
The move signals Saudi Arabia’s growing appeal as a destination for global tech firms looking to establish AI capabilities in the region.
