Dubai– Sharikat Mubasher: UAE-based FemTech startup Ovasave closed a $1.2 million pre-seed funding round to expand its digital fertility and hormonal health platform across the GCC, with Saudi Arabia as a key next market.
According to a recent press release, this round was led by PlusVC, Annex Investments, and New York’s 25 Madison, alongside strategic angel investors and family offices from the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Founded in 2023 and backed by Hub71, Ovasave offers women a comprehensive digital-first experience, spanning hormone testing, egg freezing, virtual consultations, and personalized treatment protocols. The platform also supports perimenopause and menopause care, filling a longstanding gap in the region’s women’s health services.
The fresh capital will power the next phase of the startup’s mobile app, expand its growing corporate benefits program, and accelerate regional rollout. Ovasave has already partnered with major employers like Aldar and BCG, and organized public awareness campaigns such as “Fertility Your Way,” which offered free hormone screenings to over 500 women across the UAE.
Co-founders Majd Abu Zant and Torkia Mahloul say the funding reflects rising investor confidence in FemTech and a shift toward proactive, personalized care. With momentum building in the UAE and demand rising across the MENA region, Ovasave is positioning itself at the forefront of a $3.8 billion FemTech opportunity projected by 2031.
