Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: Dubai-based TERN Group, an AI-powered global talent mobility platform for healthcare professionals, raised $24 million in a Series A round, bringing its total funding to $33 million.
As per a recent press release, the round was led by UK’s Notion Capital, with participation from EQ2 Ventures, RTP Global, LocalGlobe, Leo Capital, Presight Capital, and DST Global’s Tom Stafford.
Founded in 2023 by Avinav Nigam, TERN aims to address global healthcare workforce shortages by streamlining recruitment and training through its Clinical AI Workforce platform. The system cuts international hiring timelines from months to weeks, offering faster placements, cost savings, and higher retention rates.
The fresh capital will support expansion of TERN’s AI platform, compliance infrastructure, and partnerships with healthcare providers across the GCC, Europe, and the UK. The company is already working with leading hospitals in the UAE, which is projected to spend over $50 billion on healthcare by 2029.
TERN currently serves more than 100 global healthcare clients and has over 650,000 professionals registered on its platform. With the new funding, the company plans to strengthen its GCC operations and position itself as a key player in building sustainable healthcare workforce systems worldwide.
