
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: SAMI Advanced Electronics Company (SAMI-AEC), a subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), launched the ‘Remal’ project for computer manufacturing, in partnership with HP and Foxconn.
The project targets localizing advanced digital industries and strengthening Saudi Arabia’s technology ecosystem, the company announced in a press release yesterday.
The Remal program is expected to reinforce the Kingdom’s digital manufacturing capabilities, reduce reliance on imports, and drive sustainable growth. It also reflects SAMI-AEC’s leading position as a national enabler of technological innovation.
Ziyad Al-Musallam, CEO of SAMI-AEC, stated that launching the Remal project underscores the company’s commitment to establishing Saudi Arabia as a leader in local technology manufacturing, empowering national talent, strengthening the digital economy, and transferring global expertise through partnerships with HP and Foxconn.
Moreover, the Remal project will enhance national competencies in production engineering, quality control, and digital system integration.
