Selected startups span healthtech, AI, cybersecurity, and space technology

Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: The Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund (MBRIF), an initiative of the UAE Ministry of Finance, announced choosing 21 innovative companies to join the 11th cohort of its Innovation Accelerator Program, reinforcing its commitment to supporting high-impact solutions that strengthen the national economy.

As per a recent press release, the 11th cohort spans sectors including healthtech, AI, IoT, cybersecurity, agritech, Web3, robotics, and space technology, with startups such as BioTwin, Disrupt-X, Terra Grow, Palmear, and Third Body Dynamics among those selected.

Fatima Yousif Alnaqbi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for the Support Services Sector at the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry’s representative at MBRIF, said the new cohort reflects the maturity of the UAE’s innovation ecosystem and its growing appeal to local and international entrepreneurs.

Launched in 2018, the accelerator supports high-potential startups with mentorship, expert-led training, and access to public and private sector stakeholders, helping them scale and contribute to the UAE’s transition toward a diversified, knowledge-based economy.

Since its launch, the MBRIF Innovation Accelerator has supported nearly 200 startups, enabling them to raise more than AED 1 billion in external funding and create over 1,000 jobs across the UAE.
