Company targets growing private aviation demand across key Saudi cities

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: AirX, a Maltese private aviation operator, announced its official expansion into the Saudi Kingdom after receiving regulatory approval from the General Authority of Civil Aviation. As per a recent press release, this move is being supported by AstroLabs and marks a new phase in the company’s regional growth.

With the approval in place, AirX plans to strengthen its private jet charter operations in the Kingdom and increase the number of aircraft available locally. The company said the expansion reflects its long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia’s fast-growing private aviation market.

Houssam Hazzoury, AirX’s Group CEO, indicated that Saudi Arabia has become one of the world’s most important aviation markets, driven by strong growth in tourism, investment, and international business under Vision 2030. He noted that the GACA approval allows AirX to expand its operational footprint and offer premium private jet services to corporate, VIP, and government clients inside the Kingdom.

Fouad Fattal, AstroLabs’ Vice President of Commercial, said AirX’s entry comes at a time when Saudi Arabia is strengthening its position as a global aviation and tourism hub, creating new opportunities for premium private aviation services.

AirX currently operates a fleet of 20 aircraft and plans to work closely with local partners as it expands services across key destinations, including Riyadh, Jeddah, and NEOM.
