Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia inaugurated an integrated logistics center operated by MEDLOG at King Abdulaziz Port, strengthening the Kingdom’s logistics infrastructure and supporting its ambitions to become a global trade hub. As per a recent press release, the facility was launched in the presence of the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services and Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani). Developed with investments exceeding SAR 150 million, the logistics center spans more than 100,000 square meters and is designed to deliver integrated logistics, storage, and distribution services.

Operated by MEDLOG, the logistics arm of the Mediterranean Shipping Co. (MSC), the center is expected to enhance cargo handling efficiency, support multimodal connectivity, and improve supply chain resilience at the port. The project aims to attract global logistics players and increase throughput at one of the Kingdom’s most strategic maritime gateways.

The new logistics hub supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s push to position itself as a leading regional and international logistics platform connecting Asia, Europe, and Africa.
