Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: DIAFA announced it has acquired a majority stake in the restaurant and private members’ club portfolio of hospitality entrepreneur Richard Caring in a ten-figure deal.
According to a recent press release, this transaction includes the Ivy brasserie chain, Caprice Holdings, and its restaurant brands, including Scott’s, Sexy Fish, and Noema. It also covers The Birley Clubs, whose venues include Annabel’s, George, Harry’s Bar, and Mark’s Club.
DIAFA, an affiliate of IHC Group, said Richard Caring will remain Executive Chairman as the company pursues international expansion. Plans include opening Annabel’s in New York, alongside further growth for Scott’s, Sexy Fish, Noema, and The Ivy across the United States and other markets.
The acquisition adds to DIAFA’s existing portfolio, which already includes Azumi Group, owner of Zuma and ROKA, as well as The h.wood Group.
DIAFA recently appointed Ravi Thakran, former chairman of LVMH Asia, as Group CEO to lead the platform’s global expansion strategy. Thakran said the deal marks the beginning of a new chapter in luxury hospitality, focused on building a portfolio of globally recognized dining and lifestyle brands.
