Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia launched Package Visa, a new digital initiative that integrates tourist visa applications directly into curated travel bookings, streamlining the process for international visitors.
As per a recent press release, this initiative is being rolled out through qualified travel and tourism service providers in selected international markets ahead of a broader global expansion. It enables eligible travelers to complete visa applications, book flights and accommodation, and add tourism experiences through a single, integrated booking process.
The launch builds on Saudi Arabia's broader efforts to simplify entry procedures, following the introduction of the tourist e-Visa, visa on arrival, and the Stopover Transit Visa. These measures have contributed to the Kingdom's tourism growth, as Saudi Arabia welcomed more than 29 million inbound visitors in 2025.
According to the Ministry of Tourism, the new initiative is designed to reduce administrative steps for travelers while encouraging longer stays and richer travel experiences. Package Visa is currently available only through qualified travel and tourism service providers that meet defined service standards and provide 24/7 customer support, supporting Saudi Arabia's ambition to strengthen its position as a leading global tourism destination.
