Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: HUMAIN, the PIF-backed artificial intelligence company, introduced Horizon Ultra, its next-generation AI PC, at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, developed in collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies.

As per an official press release, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 Elite platform and was developed over more than 12 months to bring advanced AI capabilities directly to the PC. Its first version will run Microsoft Windows, while HUMAIN plans to introduce its own HUMAIN OS with the next generation in 2027.

Snapdragon X2 Elite combines an 18-core Qualcomm Oryon CPU with Adreno GPU and Hexagon NPU technology, allowing AI workloads to run locally on the device while connecting to the cloud when additional computing power is required.

HUMAIN said on-device AI can improve responsiveness while helping keep sensitive workloads and data on the PC, supporting enterprise use cases where privacy and data sovereignty are priorities.

The company is positioning Horizon Ultra as part of its broader full-stack AI strategy, extending its capabilities from infrastructure and cloud computing to personal devices.

AlFalak will serve as the sales and delivery partner, with Horizon Ultra set to be available for enterprise purchase from September 20, 2026.

The fifth edition of LEAP 2026 runs from 31 August to 3 September at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh.

The event is expected to attract more than 1,000 global speakers and experts, 1,800 technology companies, 600 startups and 1,900 investors and venture capital representatives, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s growing role as a hub for technology and innovation.
