Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Value Makers Studio (VMS), the Saudi-based venture studio empowering MENA entrepreneurs and global startups, signed a strategic partnership agreement with MINT by EGBANK to help Egyptian startups enter and scale in the Saudi market, connecting entrepreneurs in Egypt with one of the region's fastest-growing startup ecosystems.
Under the agreement, VMS will be the regional partner for Saudi Arabia for the MINT Incubator, providing participating startups with hands-on market-entry support, regulatory guidance, access to Saudi business networks, and a dedicated Saudi Arabia Regional Expansion Track, according to the official statement released today.
VMS will help the top three startups selected from the cohort to obtain registration from the Saudi Ministry of Investment (MISA), supporting their ability to establish and operate entities in the Kingdom.
All cohort startups will have access to a total of more than $200,000 in software and technology perks, including cloud credits and SaaS tools provided through VMS's partner network.
Motaz Abuonoq, CEO of VMS, said: “There is significant ambition among Egyptian founders to expand into Saudi Arabia, but entering a new market requires the right local knowledge, relationships, and infrastructure. This partnership is about turning that ambition into a practical route to market. Together with MINT, we are giving founders the tools and access they need to take meaningful steps toward building their businesses in the Kingdom.”
VMS will design and deliver the Saudi Arabia expansion component of the MINT Incubator curriculum, covering market readiness, company establishment pathways, applicable regulatory requirements, and relevant government platforms.
In turn, Nelly Mahmoud, chief marketing officer for youth services and financial inclusion at EGBANK, commented: “VMS is an ideal partner, given its strong regional experience and deep understanding of the market and the entrepreneurship ecosystem. Through this partnership, we look forward to offering young entrepreneurs a wider range of opportunities and services, and to strengthening their access to regional markets. We are proud of this partnership and look forward to delivering real value and tangible impact for the entrepreneurship community.”
Moreover, the partnership will connect VMS directly with participating founders for mentorship, relationship-building, and potential collaboration and investment opportunities, while giving VMS portfolio companies and startup network access to software perks available through MINT.
