
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Etihad Salam Telecom Company (Salam), a leading provider of telecommunications services and digital infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dell Technologies to expand collaboration in cloud infrastructure and Edge AI across the Kingdom.
The MoU was signed at LEAP 2026 by Ahmed Al-Anqari, CEO of Salam, and Mohamed Talaat, vice president for Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and North Africa at Dell Technologies, according to an official statement released by Salam today.
The agreement establishes a joint framework to scale advanced cloud infrastructure and Edge AI solutions for business sector clients across the Kingdom.
The MoU aims to integrate Dell Technologies’ cloud infrastructure and Edge AI solutions into Salam’s broad portfolio of services, contributing to greater operational flexibility for end users, better cost clarity, and accelerated access to modern digital services.
Al-Anqari stated that expanding the collaboration with Dell Technologies enables Salam to deliver world-class cloud infrastructure and Edge AI solutions, following a resilient consumption model. He noted that the collaboration will help Salam’s clients in the government and business sectors to update their operations seamlessly and drive sustainable growth.
Moreover, the collaboration between Salam and Dell Technologies supports the Kingdom’s broader ambitions to develop the digital economy as part of the Saudi Vision 2030 by enabling public and private organizations to harness high-performance technologies to streamline operations, enhance security, and leverage analytics and real-time data.
