Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Autobia, a Saudi B2B automotive spare parts company, secured SAR 45 million (approximately $12 million) in a Series A funding round led by Artal Capital, with participation from Aljazira Capital and Wa’ed Ventures, to expand its operations in the Saudi market.
The new capital will help Autobia expand across new regions in the Kingdom, strengthen logistics infrastructure, advance dynamic pricing technologies, and broaden payment solutions, the company announced in a statement today.
Autobia's expansion strategy aims to strengthen its operational capabilities and support the continued development of its automotive spare parts supply model.
Founded in 2021 by Emad Daghreri and Ahmed Alawfi, Autobia’s business model connects retailers with automotive spare parts suppliers, enabling them to purchase the parts they need and have them delivered directly to their businesses, with the option to pay in installments.
It also helps retailers manage customer payments by facilitating flexible payment arrangements through authorized buy now, pay later (BNPL) service providers across Saudi Arabia.
