Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 438 new industrial licenses in July 2026, while 189 factories began production during the same month, according to a report by the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information.
The new licenses are associated with investments worth approximately SAR 4.82 billion and are expected to create more than 3,708 jobs across various regions of the Kingdom, as stated in the report.
Investments in factories that commenced production during July reached SAR 1.95 billion, creating 2,807 jobs. The figures reflect continued expansion of Saudi Arabia’s industrial base as more facilities move into active operations.
The ministry regularly publishes industrial indicators through the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information to monitor the sector’s performance across the Kingdom. The data covers new industrial licenses, investment volumes, the number of licenses issued, and factories beginning production.
The ministry said the indicators support transparency and help track the Kingdom’s accelerating industrial growth.
