
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Eversendai Corporation Berhad (ECB), one of Asia's premier structural steel specialist contractors, announced that its subsidiaries entered into new agreements on establishing new structural steel projects to expand in Saudi Arabia and India.
In a statement, Eversendai announced that the projects are estimated at around SAR151 million, pointing out: “The growth is based on a vital society, a thriving economy and an ambitious nation.”
ECB’s Managing Director, Tan Sri AK Nathan said that the company is currently working on finalizing “a local partner to spearhead Eversendai’s expansion and growth in Saudi Arabia”. He also clarified: “We are also in the process of establishing 60,000 tons annual fabrication capacity factory near Riyadh to support the huge structural steel requirement”
The steel specialist also elaborated that the Saudi market has various and prominent investment opportunities, in alignment with the Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Headquartered in Malaysia, Eversendai Corporation Berhad was founded in 1984 as an investment holding company that provides management services to its subsidiaries. It also offers technical services, such as structural design, detailing works, unfolding drawings and value engineering services.
It accomplished more than 300 projects across 14 countries such as UAE, Qatar, and India, including rise buildings, power plants, Oil & Gas upstream and downstream including process and industrial plants as well as infrastructure and composite structures in the Asian and Middle Eastern regions.
